About The Position
This role assists with the installation, repair, replacement, and testing of electrical components, as well as maintaining, repairing, installing, and testing electrical motors, generators, and other equipment. The position involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment. A key responsibility is performing preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial and manufacturing equipment in accordance with company policy, federal, state, and local regulations, repair manuals, factory specifications, and the employee's knowledge of the equipment. Other duties as assigned are also part of the role.
Requirements
- Knowledge of, experience in, and/or education in powered industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of, experience in, and/or education in manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of, experience in, and/or education in electrical systems.
- Knowledge of, experience in, and/or education in pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of, experience in, and/or education in hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience with welding and fabricating.
- Experience with plumbing.
- Experience with carpentry.
