This role is responsible for planning and maintaining production processes within the production department, ensuring food quality and food safety. This includes adherence to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The position also focuses on ensuring associate safety by complying with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. Key responsibilities include developing, training, and mentoring production department associates, participating in the interview and selection process, executing and training associates on company policies, providing direction, motivating staff, and evaluating performance. Additionally, the role involves identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities to enhance associate and asset productivity.
