Maintenance Generalist (1st Shift) - Chick N Quick - Rogers AR
About The Position
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, keeping machinery running, preventative maintenance, all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The schedule is 4 AM - 4 PM, alternating between working Wednesday - Sunday one week and Wednesday - Friday the next week, with Wednesdays being half days from 10 AM - 4 PM. Pay will be based on qualifications and experience level. The role requires identifying all parts, supplies, and services needed to maintain equipment in the assigned area and completing work orders in a timely manner to reduce downtime and meet production goals. This position requires lifting, reaching, rotating, walking, climbing, bending, and squatting throughout the shift. The work environment can be cold, hot, wet, dusty, and noisy. The ability to use basic hand and power tools, including drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, and multi-meters, is necessary.
Requirements
- 6 months of industrial Maintenance Experience or education.
- Must provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history.
- Former Tyson Foods team members have a 365-day (12-month) waiting period.
- Maximum of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools to include drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, multi-meter, and other tools.
