About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves operating a floor jack safely, coordinating with the Supervisor, and maintaining accurate records of finished product and packaging material. Daily completion of operator checklists and reporting of needed repairs or safety concerns to the Supervisor are key responsibilities. The role also includes supplying the production line with pallets, condemned bins, and recyclable containers, verifying the accuracy of all materials and ingredients, and assisting with line clean-up and sanitation according to USDA/Tyson guidelines. Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Must complete an on-line job application in Workday.
  • Must have 6 months continuous work history in 2 years.
  • All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson.
  • Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.

Responsibilities

  • Keeping production line supplied with pallets, condemned bin and recyclable containers.
  • Verifying accuracy of all materials and ingredients used on production line.
  • Assisting with clean-up and sanitation of line following USDA/Tyson guidelines.
  • Performing other duties assigned by Supervisor.
