About The Position
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing machinery to keep equipment running. It includes performing preventative maintenance on all equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves identifying all parts, supplies, and services required to maintain equipment in the assigned area and completing work orders in a timely manner to reduce downtime and meet production goals.
Requirements
- 6 months of industrial Maintenance Experience or education.
- Must provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history.
- Former Tyson Foods team members must have a 365-day (12-month) waiting period.
- Maximum of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
- Must be able to use basic hand and power tools to include drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, multi-meter, and other tools.
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
