About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing machinery to keep equipment running. It includes performing preventative maintenance on all equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves identifying all necessary parts, supplies, and services for equipment maintenance in the assigned area and completing work orders within deadlines to minimize downtime and achieve production goals.

Requirements

• 6 months industrial maintenance experience.
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use basic hand and power tools to include drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, multi-meter, and other tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing machinery.
• Performing preventative maintenance on all equipment and company assets.
• Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Identifying all parts, supplies, and services required to maintain equipment in the assigned area.
• Completing work orders in a timely manner to reduce downtime and meet production goals.
• Lifting, reaching, rotating, walking, climbing, bending, and squatting throughout the shift.
• Using basic hand and power tools including drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, and multi-meters.
