Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Passionate about aerospace, engineering or facilities management.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to learn new tasks/handle multiple tasks, solve problems, meet deadlines, and show strong self-motivation and initiative.
• Good organizational skills for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Attention to detail for tasks such as finding equipment serial numbers.
• Strong communication skills to interact with maintenance and facilities staff.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.

Nice To Haves

• Enrollment in a related degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Specific interest in maintenance and facilities management is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a database for the maintenance program.
• Assist in creating and updating work instructions.
• Participate in plant mapping and equipment evaluations.
• Schedule and track preventative maintenance activities.
• Conduct equipment research, including finding serial numbers.
• Perform item research as needed.
• Track work orders and provide updates on progress.
• Provide support to the maintenance and facilities staff.
• Assist in mapping and layout planning.
• Other duties as assigned to support the maintenance and facilities department.
