About The Position

The Maintenance Facilities Director is responsible for the oversight of the general maintenance of the property, buildings, and furnishings at Troutbeck Hospitality LLC. This role involves a wide range of hands-on tasks including painting, cleaning, landscaping, repairs, fixture installation, tending fireplaces/fire pits, assembling items, and working with plumbing/electricity/small engines. A key responsibility is the maintenance of the pool, which includes chemical testing and balancing, filter maintenance, safety walks, and necessary repairs or upgrades to ensure safety. The Director will also manage the department's budget, including ordering and reconciling supplies. This position requires a strong commitment to best-in-class customer service, responding to guest requests promptly and professionally, and training the department to maintain these standards. The role also involves reporting any observed issues or unusual activities to management in real-time. The ideal candidate is a service-minded, collaborative individual who is proactive, professional, and a team player, acting as a Brand Ambassador for Troutbeck.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of general maintenance of the property, buildings, and furnishings.
  • Performing tasks such as painting, cleaning, landscaping, repairs, fixture installation, tending fireplaces/fire pits, assembling items, and working with plumbing/electricity/small engines.
  • Maintenance of the Pool including chemical testing and balancing, filter maintenance, safety walks and repairs or upgrades.
  • Budget ownership, ordering, and reconciliation of supplies for the department.
  • Providing best-in-class customer service, responding to guests’ requests in real-time politely and professionally.
  • Training the department to uphold customer service standards.
  • Reporting to management on any observed issues or unusual activities.
  • Assisting any department with any task as needed.
