2027 Summer Maintenance Engineering Intern
About The Position
Butterball, LLC, is seeking a Summer Maintenance Engineering Intern for its Mount Olive food manufacturing plant in Mount Olive, North Carolina. This 10-12 week program offers hands-on experience in daily plant operations, tackling industry challenges, and contributing to process improvements within the maintenance team. The maintenance team provides mechanical support for operational changes due to equipment malfunction, breakdown, relocation, or modification. The program's objective is to develop future leaders through professional development and assignments aligned with interests in the processing and manufacturing industry.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelors, Master or PhD in Agri-Business, Animal Science, Food Science, Meat Science, Ag Leadership or related field with an expected graduation date of December 2027 through June 2028.
- Have a valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
- Demonstrated participation in extracurricular activity.
- Demonstrated involvement on-campus.
Nice To Haves
- Previous work experience of any kind preferred.
Responsibilities
