About The Position

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems and managing preventive maintenance schedules. The role supports quality and safety standards at The Davenport Grand Hotel and calls for a problem-solving mindset and commitment to excellent service. The position is at a luxury hotel in Spokane, Washington.

Requirements

• Two to five years of experience preferred in hotel, resort, commercial, or institutional maintenance.
• HVAC, plumbing, or electrical skills.
• Light carpentry skills and knowledge of paint and wallpaper.
• Meet the minimum age requirements of the jurisdiction.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Read, write, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in pool operation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Background in preventive maintenance.
