About The Position

Responsible for general maintenance in a medical specialty campus. Provides routine and preventative maintenance, including inspection, maintenance, and complex repairs on various systems such as pressure boilers, basic HVAC systems, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment. May provide emergency repairs and perform additional duties as assigned. Position may provide general work direction, within the scope of their license, to assigned team members.

Requirements

• Minimum of a 2-year vocational school, a 2-year apprenticeship program, or equivalent; alternatively, 3 years of experience in a maintenance role.
• Current Class “Special” Boilers License, or ability to obtain it within 6 months as required by the facility; alternatively, a higher certification, such as a 2nd Class B or C, 1st class, or chief A, B, or C license, within 18 months of hire or transfer.
• Meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health's insurer.
