About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Maintenance Engineer for Rand Tower, Minneapolis, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. The role performs a variety of maintenance trade functions, including installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and hotel systems. Work includes HVAC, painting, wall repair, tile work, and maintaining the property's preventative maintenance program. The engineer works closely with team members and contributes to guest service and the upkeep of the property.

The position also involves general maintenance of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; repairs to appliances, house wiring, air-conditioning systems, plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems; repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, and carpeting; and mechanical maintenance of pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment. The employee maintains task logs and other records and submits reports requested by supervisors in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Experience working in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of household repairs, including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work.
• Engaging and welcoming personality.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating an exceptional guest experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, and push or pull throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air-conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Repair woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, and related items.
• Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair equipment and perform HVAC, painting, wall repair, and tile work.
• Maintain the property's preventative maintenance program.
• Keep required records and logs of completed tasks.
• Prepare requested reports and submit reports and logs in a timely manner.
