Coury Hospitality is seeking a skilled and service-driven Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team at Hotel Citrine, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, and AC Hotel Palo Alto Moffett Park. These two distinct properties, Hotel Citrine and AC Hotel Palo Alto, share a mission for operational excellence. Hotel Citrine focuses on an eco-conscious, vibrant design with elevated service, while AC Hotel Palo Alto offers sleek, modern luxury with a European soul. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be the vital force ensuring the property stays polished, problem-free, and ready to deliver a flawless guest experience. You are a hands-on technician, a sharp-eyed troubleshooter, and a collaborative team member committed to quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of building systems: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail
- Prior experience in hotel or facility maintenance preferred
- Familiarity with tools, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest service and maintenance requests
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to extend the life of property systems
- Support the safe operation of fire alarms, emergency exits, sprinklers, and life safety systems
- Collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and all departments to address maintenance concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with company policies
- Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and seasonal exterior upkeep as needed
