MAINTENANCE ENGINEER- BILINGUAL (KOREAN/ENGLISH)
About The Position
The Maintenance Engineer will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment used in EV and e-powertrain component production. This role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electromechanical issues on automated assembly systems, robotic equipment, and automotive components handling systems. The engineer will also analyze equipment performance data, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Additionally, the position supports new model launches, equipment commissioning, and coordinates upgrades with vendors. Maintaining maintenance logs and technical documentation is crucial, as is responding to equipment alarms and production stoppages to ensure timely restoration of capability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related field.
- One year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment used in EV and e-powertrain component production.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electromechanical issues involving automated assembly systems, robotic equipment, and automotive components handling systems.
- Analyze equipment performance data and failure trends, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support new model launches and equipment commissioning activities.
- Coordinate equipment upgrades, modifications, and tooling improvements with vendors and internal engineering teams to improve safety, efficiency, and manufacturability.
- Maintain mechanical equipment maintenance logs and technical documentation for troubleshooting, repairs, and system changes to support traceability and continuous improvement.
- Respond to equipment alarms and unplanned stoppages and restore automotive components production capability in a timely manner.
