Requirements

H.S. Diploma
One (1) year of customer service experience
Driver's license
Secure ramp driving certification (within 90 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree in business or a related field of study
2-4 years of dispatch, radio communication, customer service, or related experience.

Responsibilities

Distributes hot work permits and red tag impairments and coordinates fire system operations with contractors and maintenance teams as required.
Answers emergency calls and coordinates repairs when necessary.
Responds to phone calls, records information, and creates work orders requests.
Coordinates and controls maintenance functions and service to call-in requests to assure prompt response.
Prepares & analyzes daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics of work orders as determined by the supervisor.
Enter Assets in the work order system, as new are acquired or taken out of service.
Controls distribution of building keys to contractors and staff, and reports keys not returned in a timely manner.
Notifies proper authorities regarding fire system impairments.
Coordinates authorization to get the escalator back in service.
Routinely develops, tracks & updates escalators & elevators up/down times including contractor response times.
Reminds contractors of safety and security requirements.
Dispatches maintenance personnel during emergencies.
Adjusts the fire alarm system so that false alarms are not enunciated and distributes the proper job tag for on-site notification.
Inspects airport facilities and creates work orders to correct deficiencies.
Performs follow-up with maintenance personnel and requesters.
Establishes working relationships and rapport with customers.

Maintains regular and on-time attendance.
Follows all safety regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
