About The Position

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Director for its Northlake House assisted living community in Charlotte. The role is responsible for preserving the condition and functionality of the community’s buildings and common areas. The Maintenance Director performs a variety of maintenance tasks, including painting, HVAC installations, and landscaping, and is expected to work autonomously and responsibly while observing health and safety guidelines. Northlake House has partnered with Tapcheck, a mobile app that allows team members to access earned wages instantly. The position is full-time.

Requirements

Preferably two years of related maintenance experience.
Ability to perform general maintenance repairs and to problem-solve, plan, organize, communicate, and cooperate with others.
Valid state driver’s license and/or CDL, based on property requirements and state laws.
Ability to safely drive and operate a van or larger vehicle.
Basic knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive criticism.
Ability to seek out new methods and participate in incorporating them into existing maintenance practices.
Ability to effectively follow written and oral instructions.

Nice To Haves

Some formal training in one or more of the following areas: carpentry, plumbing, painting, HVAC, refurbishing, or cleaning.
