About The Position

The Maintenance Clerk is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the store, restrooms, and offices, and maintaining cleaning supply inventory. The role works in an office and retail store environment, with noise levels ranging from quiet to loud. Work schedules vary according to business needs and may involve working from midnight.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Friendly and people-oriented, with a positive attitude and a team-player mindset.
• Quality focused and able to work with a sense of urgency.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changes.
• Ability to sit, stand, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
• Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum building floors.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms; clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaning supplies and tools.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Maintain dry floor areas, especially at the front door.
• Deploy wet-floor cones when necessary.
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory.
