About The Position

The Niemann Harvest Market Maintenance Clerk duties include but are not limited to providing excellent customer service, cleaning and performing light day-to-day repair of general maintenance items while working in a safe manner and fostering a Niemann Harvest Market culture.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other Associates of the organization.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication)
Slip resistant shoes with closed toe and heel

Associates may be required to use standard maintenance equipment including, but not limited Vacuum sweeper Lawn Mower Grass trimmer Hedge trimmer Power washer Floor scrubber Small power tools

Responsibilities

Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
Learns and uses the three E’s: Engagement, Educate, Empowerment
General cleaning: empty wastebaskets, clean restrooms in detail and replenish supplies
Vacuum hallways/offices, sweep and mop all hard surfaces, dust furniture, blinds, etc.
Light maintenance work
Shovel snow, mow grass, trim grass, trim trees, power wash outside areas of building replace light bulbs
Upkeep and organization of the back of the building
Dish washing as needed
Minor repair work, painting, building shelves
Operates pallet jack and forklift once trained
Call for outside assistance with a repair problem, if needed
During Peak hours, stock groceries, help customers, push carts
Promotes and supports established programs
Works within company programs, policies and procedures
Follows all safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
Other duties as assigned
