About The Position

The Maintenance Clerk is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the store, restrooms, and offices, as well as maintaining cleaning supply inventory. The role includes cleaning floors and surfaces, emptying trash, servicing restrooms, and keeping floor areas dry. Work takes place in an office and retail-store environment with noise levels ranging from quiet to loud. Schedules vary according to business needs, and work may begin at midnight.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the store, restrooms, and offices.
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaning supplies and tools.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Keep floor areas dry, especially near the front door.
• Deploy wet-floor cones when necessary.
