About The Position
The Kitchen Cashier provides customer service and cash handling in a retail store environment. The role is expected to model the company by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company core values. The position also supports kitchen operations by assisting cooks with specific dishes, keeping front-counter supplies stocked, and taking food orders in person and by telephone. The employee maintains applicable standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions, and food safety.
Requirements
- Valid Food Handlers Card.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk and stand continuously throughout the shift.

- Customer service and retail experience are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers throughout interactions.
- Improve the speed and efficiency of service.
- Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions, and food safety.
- Assist cooks with making specific dishes.
- Fill and restock front-counter utensils, water sanitizer, vegetables, and drinks.
- Follow procedures for voids, refunds, transaction cancellations, and saved recall transactions.
- Be responsible for personal cashier productivity.
- Take food orders in person and by telephone.
- Demonstrate persistence, perseverance, empathy, care, and concern, and build positive relationships with teammates and diverse people.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
