About The Position

The Maintenance Assistant assists the Environmental Services Director with the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department. The role performs general maintenance duties, including painting, basic plumbing and electrical repairs, and carpet cleaning, as assigned. It also assists with maintaining the Environmental Services Log and completes work orders in a timely fashion. The position may require working in a motor vehicle.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift at least 50 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet, and push, pull, move, and carry that weight.
• Must be able to work with frequent interruptions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred.
