About The Position

The Maintenance Assistant assists the Environmental Services Director with the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department. The role performs general maintenance duties, including painting, basic plumbing and electrical repairs, and carpet cleaning, and helps maintain the Environmental Services Log and complete work orders in a timely manner. The position may require working in a motor vehicle. Applicants must pass a criminal background check and have experience in painting and drywall, along with basic knowledge of carpentry.

Requirements

• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have experience in painting and drywall.
• Must have basic knowledge and experience in carpentry.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift at least 50 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet, and push, pull, move, and carry that weight.
• Must be able to tolerate frequent interruptions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred.
