About The Position

Juniper Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for a senior living community. The role manages day-to-day health and wellness operations to support residents’ function, safety, and wellbeing. The LPN provides and documents medication administration and basic medical care, monitors residents’ conditions, and communicates with residents, families, medical professionals, and the multidisciplinary team. The posting offers part-time shifts across any shift, with a $1 shift differential for evening and overnight shifts. Pay starts at $30.00 per hour, with higher rates available for experienced nurses, plus bonus opportunities. DailyPay is available for on-demand pay.

Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) qualification.
Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
Perfect physical condition and stamina.

Nice To Haves

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) qualification.
BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the community’s health and wellness component to support resident functioning, safety, and wellbeing.
Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
Observe residents under treatment to identify progress and medication side effects.
Monitor and record vital signs.
Provide assistance with activities of daily living as needed.
Administer prescribed medications and injections, provide wound care, and perform other basic medical care tasks.
Collect laboratory samples.
Communicate with team members, residents, families, and medical professionals.
Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
