About The Position

The Maintenance Apprentice gains on-the-job knowledge from the maintenance team by learning and performing basic repair, inspection, and preventive maintenance tasks across facility equipment and systems. This role is designed to provide hands-on technical training while helping ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building and production assets.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be currently enrolled and pursing a college degree/certificate in a related field of study
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians
Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools is helpful
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Help troubleshoot equipment issues under the guidance of experienced technicians
Conduct basic inspections, record findings, and document completed work
Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
Support preventive maintenance schedules and update maintenance logs
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Follow all workplace safety rules and report hazards promptly
Participate in training and development activities to build technical skills
Assist in performing routine maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment
