About The Position

Camden’s Maintenance Apprentice Program provides an introduction to multifamily property management through hands-on experience with daily maintenance operations at a Camden community. Apprentices work under the supervision of a maintenance supervisor and alongside the property management team, learning residential maintenance functions, customer service strategies, and community policies and procedures. The program lasts 6–12 weeks. At its completion, apprentices are evaluated and may have the opportunity to be hired as full-time employees in a maintenance role if qualified. The role involves exposure to apartment maintenance and repair, including safety, appliance and HVAC troubleshooting, electrical and plumbing repair, refrigeration basics, apartment make-readies and inspections, and pool maintenance.
