About The Position

The Maintenance 1st Class role at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort supports the efficient operation of the hotel’s mechanical systems. The position responds to guest and team member service requests, troubleshoots and repairs equipment, performs preventive maintenance, documents work, supervises and develops maintenance team members, and helps ensure Life Safety Systems meet applicable standards.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and team member work orders and emergency requests involving non-functioning machinery or equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to maintain functionality and help prevent system failures.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and support reliable performance.
• Document completed maintenance and repairs, and flag issues requiring further attention.
• Train, schedule, and supervise maintenance team members, providing guidance and support.
• Monitor, maintain, and test Life Safety Systems in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards.
