About The Position

The Mainframe Developer will work in a large-scale enterprise environment, preferably in financial services. The role requires mainframe development expertise across COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS, along with hands-on experience using Control-M, MQ Series, and Easytrieve or REXX. The developer will work with batch processing, online transaction processing, file-based data flows, and EBCDIC data handling, and contribute to production support, incident resolution, and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of mainframe development experience; experience in financial services is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.
• Hands-on experience with Control-M, MQ Series, and Easytrieve or REXX.
• Strong understanding of batch processing, online transaction processing, file-based data flows, and EBCDIC data handling.
• Experience with production support and incident resolution.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and source control tools such as Endevor, GitLab, or similar SCM platforms.
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.
