About The Position

As a Main Shop Service Advisor, you’ll play a critical role in delivering an exceptional service experience by guiding customers through the repair process and ensuring efficient communication between the service drive and the shop. Holmes Tuttle Lincoln is looking for motivated individuals who take pride in customer service, can multitask effectively, and want consistent work with opportunities to grow into senior advisor or management roles in a thriving dealership environment.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive service advisor or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic automotive knowledge or willingness to learn quickly
  • Computer proficiency and experience with service software (preferred)
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Dependable, punctual, and customer focused
  • Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally in the service drive
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service needs
  • Create repair orders and communicate work clearly to technicians
  • Provide estimates, timelines, and recommendations to customers
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding repair status
  • Coordinate workflow between technicians, parts, and service teams
  • Review completed work, ensure accuracy, and explain services at delivery
  • Upsell recommended maintenance and services based on vehicle needs
  • Handle customer questions, concerns, and follow-up to ensure satisfaction
  • Follow all dealership policies, safety standards, and service procedures
