About The Position
McCarthy Subaru is hiring an experienced Main Line Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain automobile components and systems, with a focus on ensuring vehicles operate efficiently and safely. The role works in a fast-paced environment, collaborates with other technicians, and communicates with service advisors and customers to deliver service. The position includes performing maintenance and repair work, diagnosing vehicle systems, and learning current automotive technology through training.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of technician experience.
- Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
Nice To Haves
- Large import experience is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership requirements.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including performing flushes and oil changes.
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
- Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
- Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so necessary repairs can be made.
- Attend formal training sessions to learn new technical information and techniques and stay current with changing technology.
