About The Position

McCarthy Subaru is hiring an experienced Main Line Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain automobile components and systems, with a focus on ensuring vehicles operate efficiently and safely. The technician works in a fast-paced dealership environment, collaborates with other technicians, and communicates with service advisors and customers to deliver service.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of technician experience.
• Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair.

Nice To Haves

• Large import experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership requirements.
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including performing flushes and oil changes.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
• Inspect and test new vehicles, and record findings so necessary repairs can be made.
• Attend formal training sessions and continue learning technical information and techniques to keep current with changing technology.
