About The Position
The Main Bank Cashier is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Main Bank, including its daily operation, administration, maintenance, and protection of the casino bankroll. This position supports the casino’s ability to provide a superior entertainment experience for guests. The cashier performs duties in accordance with applicable laws and gaming regulations, Comanche Nation Entertainment’s mission and objectives, and established policies, procedures, and controls. The position may also work as a Cage Cashier when needed. The work takes place throughout the facility, where lighting may flash and noise levels vary from quiet to loud. The environment is smoke-filled and under constant surveillance inside and outside the facility. The role may involve exposure to contentious issues with guests and staff. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, including a Home School Certificate.
- Able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a smoke-filled environment.
- Able to regularly stand for 50% or more of the shift.
- May be required to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Perform work in accordance with applicable laws and gaming regulations, the mission statement and objectives of Comanche Nation Entertainment, and established policies, procedures, and controls.
- Provide directions, assistance, and information as needed to support guest satisfaction.
- Count and balance Main Bank funds with the outgoing banker at the start of the shift and verify totals.
- Receive and verify currency, coins, tokes, and tickets to and from the coin vault, window, and vault bank; prepare paperwork documenting transfers.
- Prepare and release imprest funds to cashiers and revenue areas.
- Balance recorded transactions in the vault balance sheet and verify totals against money on hand at the end of each shift.
- Work as a Cage Cashier when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
