Mailroom Clerk – JLL What this job involves: Join our team as a Mailroom Clerk supporting the Pinterest Account! In this client-facing role, you'll be the backbone of our mailroom and receiving operations, ensuring seamless mail and package management across our portfolio of buildings. You'll deliver exceptional customer service while managing daily mail distribution, coordinating shipments, maintaining supplies, and supporting facility operations. This position offers the opportunity to work with a prestigious client in a dynamic environment where your organizational skills and attention to detail will make a real impact on daily operations. What your day-to-day will look like:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of related mailroom, logistics, or administrative experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and basic computer programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service abilities with a courteous, responsive approach
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under time pressure
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a corporate mailroom or client-facing facilities role
  • Familiarity with automated mail tracking systems
  • Background supporting high-profile clients or tech industry accounts

Responsibilities

  • Sort, distribute, and track incoming mail and packages using automated systems
  • Prepare and dispatch outgoing mail, packages, and bulk shipments with quality checks
  • Collect mail from the post office and manage timely delivery throughout the facility
  • Coordinate with USPS and express carriers to track, trace, and resolve delivery issues
  • Maintain mailroom organization, cleanliness, and equipment functionality
  • Order and manage office and cleaning supply inventory
  • Dispatch work orders to vendors and collaborate with the facility management team on site maintenance and event setup
  • Anticipate client needs, respond to concerns, and identify potential operational risks.
