About The Position

The Mailing & Fulfilment Printing Operator position is a Full time, Temporary position. The Printing Operator operates printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This role includes the creation and review of artwork, database management, quality assurance, handling of printing materials, and packaging tasks. The Printing Operator supports efficient production processes by collaborating with team members, maintaining equipment, and adhering to quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience in similar responsibilities (preferred).
  • Availability Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (assigned 8-hour shifts). Availability to work some Saturdays, as operationally necessary.
  • Proficiency in using logical controllers for machine operation.
  • Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining printing equipment.
  • Experience with press brake machines for material handling.
  • Knowledge of material handling techniques in a warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for quality control.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Bilingual (writing, speaking, and reading comprehension in English and Spanish).

Nice To Haves

  • Graphic Design Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and prepares creative documents and artwork for printing.
  • Reviews and maintains the accuracy of databases related to production files.
  • Operates printing equipment to produce materials according to established specifications.
  • Verifies alignment of text and artwork to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Packages printed material, including cutting, folding, packaging, sorting, and assembly.
  • Monitors printing processes to ensure quality consistency and makes adjustments as needed.
  • Handles printing materials, including loading and unloading supplies.
  • Performs preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on printing equipment.
  • Collaborates with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Conducts inventories in the warehouse and production area to maintain control and availability of materials.
  • Reports any operational errors to the Group Leader.
  • Maintains quality standards in all printed documents.
  • Fully and consistently complies with company standards, policies, and procedures, as well as applicable local and federal laws related to our industry, business, and labor practices.
  • May perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned, in accordance with the education and experience requirements contained herein.
