About The Position

The Mail Room Associate is responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing mail. This role also involves greeting visitors and operating the front reception desk. The primary working environment is within an indoor climate-controlled office space, where the employee may be subject to fluorescent lighting, dust, and other normal indoor allergens. The employee will work in close proximity to coworkers and occasionally independently in quiet environments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Maintain & foster positive relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.
  • Provide professional communication in both oral & written expression.
  • Ability to manage and maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational, time management & analytical skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • High degree of dependability.

  • Previous experience in business/office environment desired.

Responsibilities

  • Process all incoming and outgoing mail, UPS, and FedEx packages.
  • Greet visitors and operate front reception desk.
  • Open, sort, and distribute all mail, UPS, and FedEx packages received.
  • Prepare incoming payments for the Remittance Department.
  • Pick up, fold, and deliver all outgoing mail to USPS by end of day.
  • Scan and save documents for each department.
  • Provide document images as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
