About The Position

The candidate must be able to work in a volume-driven, fast-paced environment. It is necessary to complete tasks in accordance with client guidelines in a quick and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Flexibility to work each day until all mail is sorted (including overtime)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to meticulously examine and categorize mail for accurate sorting and delivery
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills for handling various types of mail and packages
  • Effective time management to meet sorting and distribution deadlines
  • Physical capability to stand, lift, and move heavy bags and packages
  • Accurate and fast data entry skills for tracking and logging mail
  • Understanding of mailroom security protocols, including handling confidential/sensitive information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic customer service skills when interacting with colleagues, couriers, and staff

Nice To Haves

  • Call center management experience preferred
  • Experience with dialer systems and terminology

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unbox incoming mail.
  • Categorize and sort mail according to established guidelines.
  • Properly dispose of protected health information (PHI) material in designated HIPAA bins.
  • Maintain exemplary attention to detail.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Process mail until all tasks are completed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Uphold a high standard of quality in all tasks.
  • Adhere to attendance and punctuality policies.
  • Work comfortably in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Be willing to work on most workdays, including Saturdays.
  • Maintain flexible availability for varied work hours.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs as required.
