This role is responsible for efficiently organizing incoming and outgoing documents, including opening, sorting, prepping, and distributing mail and checks. The specialist will scan documents into the document imaging system, properly index them, and print and send notifications to participants. Additional responsibilities include maintaining, ordering, and shipping company supplies, handling incoming deliveries, processing COBRA address updates, and monitoring the administrative inbox for timely follow-up. The role also involves assisting with other operational functions such as coordinating with other departments, assisting with projects, and developing/updating procedures. The specialist will promote continuous learning, ensure HIPAA privacy, adhere to security policies, and work on special projects as assigned.
