About The Position
This is a 6-month contract assignment for a Mail Machine Operator. The role involves operating equipment that sorts envelopes with customer payments based on business rules and delivers them to the next processing step. The position is located in Miami Gardens, FL.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of experience operating mail or high-volume manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of mail processing operations, postal regulations, and equipment maintenance.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work outside of normal hours when necessary to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Performs basic troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
- Operates high speed mail processing equipment to open envelopes, extract content, and image documents to process payments.
- Operates rapid extraction machinery efficiently to process exceptions that cannot be handled through high-speed equipment.
- Use vendor software to complete simple keying functions to apply customer payments or route change of address requests.
- Uses company systems and vendor software to perform simple research to apply non-complex payments and correspondence requests.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
