About The Position

This is a Union position that follows a Collective Bargaining Agreement. The primary purpose of this role is to operate and adjust mail machines. The position requires the ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day, work independently and as part of a team, and be available for overtime and any shift as required. The role involves working with computers and automated systems, as well as with solvents and cleaning liquids. Effective communication with team members is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and adjust mail machines
  • Load and unload KR Pockets
  • Perform quality checks as required
  • Load and unload Inserter
  • Clear jams
  • Set double detects on production equipment
  • Operate computers to load orders and set up KR Line to produce order
  • Setup and operate Vision matching system
  • Setup and operate finishing equipment (Tabber, Stamping Machine and Mini Folder)
  • Maintain 5S and a Safe Work Environment
  • Perform duties in other classifications as directed by Supervisor
  • Perform daily Preventative Maintenance TPM as required
  • Distinguish color
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Read small print
