About The Position

AEXP Express Corporation is seeking a mail delivery driver/mail carrier for a United States Postal Service mail route in Golden, Colorado. The route is scheduled to start on 11/15/2026. This is a 1099 contractor role paying $240 per day, paid monthly. The contractor provides their own qualifying vehicle and drives approximately 76–80 miles per day, including a 38–40-mile delivery route.

The estimated schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for approximately eight hours or less per day. Work is required on Sundays and federal holidays, except Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Thanksgiving.

Requirements

• Have legal documentation to work in the United States.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be able to lift 70 pounds.
• Be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions.
• Reside in Golden, Colorado, or a neighboring town or city.
• Provide a qualifying minivan or cargo van that is less than five years old and has at least 150 cubic feet of cargo capacity.
• Carry minimum liability insurance.
• Provide your own vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• Former USPS employees or contractors are highly recommended.
• A minivan or cargo van with at least 150 cubic feet of cargo space and no center console is recommended for passenger-side mailbox delivery; the route may be harder without these features, but it is still possible.
• Be available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Sort mail and packages into delivery sequence for active mailboxes.
• Load mail and parcels into the delivery vehicle in delivery sequence.
• Deliver mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned line of travel.
• Dismount when required to deliver parcels, Express Mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Perform other required administrative duties.
