About The Position

The Courier supports the daily operations of the University’s print, mail, and courier services by providing high-quality customer service, processing and distributing mail, and coordinating package delivery and tracking. The role involves handling postal transactions, operating mailing and postage equipment, delivering mail and packages across campus, maintaining delivery vehicles, and supporting print shop and bindery operations. The Courier ensures accurate record keeping, efficient routing and distribution, and clean, safe work areas while collaborating with internal departments, external vendors, and postal service partners. The position also communicates operational issues or procedural changes to the Director of Print and Mail to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Current and valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; the university cannot sponsor or transfer employment visas for this position.

Nice To Haves

Experience working as a courier and/or in a post office or print shop.
Knowledge of federal postal procedures.
Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience may be considered.
