Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Prepare outgoing mail, including letters, packages, and documents.
- Operate postage meters, mail-processing equipment, and other office equipment.
- Weigh packages and determine appropriate postage and shipping methods.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail.
- Arrange courier and delivery services when necessary.
- Handle confidential and sensitive documents appropriately.
- Deliver mail and packages to departments, offices, or employees.
- Pick up outgoing mail from designated areas.
- Maintain an organized mailroom and adequate supplies.
- Communicate with postal services, couriers, and delivery companies.
- Follow company security, safety, and confidentiality procedures.
