About The Position
As a Magnetic Resonance Tech, perform magnetic resonance imaging studies to support high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic results. Prepare and position patients, set imaging parameters, and process images using specialized software. Assist with developing protocols for patient studies and conduct quality control procedures on MRI equipment. The role supports patients, physicians, and fellow healthcare professionals by providing diagnostic information that informs treatment plans. The position is based at Henry Ford Health’s Warren campus, serving Macomb County. The department emphasizes advanced imaging technology, collaborative teamwork, and exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).
- Maintain required hours of continuing education.
- Current certification with ARMRIT or ARRT (R).
- If registered as a Radiographer (ARRT)(R), obtain MRI board certification (ARRT)(MR) within 12 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in Radiography.
