About The Position
As a Magnetic Resonance Tech at Henry Ford Health, you will perform magnetic resonance imaging studies and help ensure accurate, high-quality diagnostic images. You will support patients, radiologists, and healthcare teams by preparing and positioning patients, setting imaging parameters, and processing images. The role contributes directly to patient care by providing critical diagnostic information. Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).
- Maintain required hours of continuing education.
Nice To Haves
- Current certification with ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI).
- Two years of experience in Radiography.
Responsibilities
- Perform magnetic resonance imaging studies using MRI devices.
- Prepare patients and position them for imaging procedures.
- Set imaging parameters and perform computer processing to display images.
- Assist in developing protocols for patient studies.
- Conduct quality control procedures on MRI equipment.
