About The Position

The Made To Measure Specialist will be responsible for cultivating client relationships, driving made-to-measure sales through personalized consultations, and managing appointments. This role involves educating clients on fabric options and customization, as well as actively seeking opportunities to increase traffic and appointments through local networking. The specialist will also conduct accurate fittings, manage customer appointments efficiently, and oversee the fitting process to ensure quality and precision. A key aspect of the role is delivering an elevated shopping experience, handling inquiries professionally, and ensuring accurate documentation of client information. Additionally, the specialist will maintain the shop-in-shop space, assist with inventory and merchandising, and act as a brand ambassador for Indochino within the Nordstrom environment. This includes driving local marketing efforts and identifying new business growth opportunities.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in luxury fashion sales, preferably within made-to-measure menswear.
Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and tailoring techniques.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive luxury retail environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate styling advice and customization options effectively.
Proficiency in iOS and MS Office applications; familiarity with Nordstrom POS systems is an asset.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the Nordstrom environment.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to driving sales and enhancing the customer experience.

Conduct accurate fittings and pinning sessions to ensure garments meet client expectations for fit and comfort.
Manage and complete customer appointments efficiently, ensuring all alterations and fittings are performed with precision.
Oversee the fitting process by holding accountability for quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with Nordstrom tailors and Indochino specialists to communicate customer requirements effectively.
Educate clients on the fitting process and set clear expectations for alterations and delivery timelines.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail during fittings to uphold Indochino’s quality standards.
Deliver an elevated shopping experience that reflects Indochino's commitment to luxury and craftsmanship.
Handle client inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and urgency, ensuring positive outcomes.
Provide in-the-moment support to ensure each client’s needs are met promptly and effectively.
Ensure all client measurements, preferences, and orders are accurately documented and communicated to internal teams.
Conduct post-purchase follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and drive repeat business.
Maintain the Indochino shop-in-shop space to the highest standards, reflecting luxury and brand integrity.
Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and the visual presentation of product offerings.
Ensure the shop is prepared for daily operations and secured at the end of each day in line with Nordstrom’s policies.
Maintain accurate records of sales, alterations, and client interactions.
Act as a brand ambassador for Indochino, representing the brand with professionalism and expertise within Nordstrom.
Drive local marketing efforts to increase awareness and foot traffic to the shop-in-shop location.
Identify new opportunities for business growth within the Nordstrom environment.
Collaborate with Nordstrom partners and Indochino management to elevate the client experience and optimize sales.
