About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a macOS Server Administrator for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The role involves managing and maintaining MacOS servers in a data center environment, ensuring compliance with security and organizational standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with hands-on administration, patching, and automation of software and security updates using scripting tools. This position requires on-site work for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering
5+ years of experience as a Server Administrator with extensive experience with MacOS Servers
Solid understanding of Server Administration concepts and Server Virtualization
Familiar with MacOS Server Scripting and automation of software patch installations and security software updates
Solid knowledge of DHCP, Server IP Configuration and ability to resolve Network Identification/IP conflicts
Knowledge of Managed OS and Software packaging and installation
Knowledge of Workspace One, Tanium, Jamf and other server access and security profile configuration software
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution

Responsibilities

Manage Mac Server administration tasks and maintain servers up to date in compliance with Security Controls and Compliance
Perform hands-on management of MacOS Servers and their patching schedules in a Data Center Environment
Collaborate with the MacSupport Team to understand and implement the Server Management plan
Oversee DHCP and Server IP configuration, and resolve Network Identification/IP conflicts
Ensure servers are running up-to-date security software and OS
Utilize expertise in managed OS environments for software packaging and installation
