About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Java Developer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract-to-hire opportunity. The role involves developing an Online Banking application and its Java-based backend system. Responsibilities include participating in technical triages, collaborating with team members to resolve complex issues, and adhering to a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite per week.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of hands-on software development experience
Experience developing web applications using J2EE technologies and frameworks like Spring
Primary skill in Groovy
Familiar with Splunk, Toad, and SOAP UI tools
Good interpersonal communication skills for technical and business conversations
Good analytical skills to break down requirements and solve complex problems

Nice To Haves

Experience working on high-volume applications
Experience in server-side frameworks like Spring MVC
Experience building restful web services
Experience in performance tuning with a good understanding of JVM internals
Background in mathematics or statistics
Proven task management and leadership skills
Experience working in agile teams

Responsibilities

Develop Online Banking applications and Java-based backend systems
Participate in technical triages to identify and resolve issues
Partner with other team members to effectively solve problems
