About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Software Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for developing and delivering complex software solutions that support business goals across Network AI and Agentic Transformation. The successful candidate will build and test capabilities for both AI agent use-cases and deterministic automation, operating flexibly across engineering, delivery, and orchestration pillars to meet shifting demands.

Requirements

Experience developing software or automation solutions that translate business requirements into working technical capabilities
Strong programming and scripting skills in languages commonly used for software engineering and automation
Ability to develop across both AI-enabled use-cases and deterministic automation patterns
Experience building API-based integrations, service interactions, and reusable components
Familiarity with workflow orchestration, automation execution patterns, and task sequencing
Experience contributing to AI agent or workflow-based solutions
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices including coding, testing, debugging, and version control
Experience delivering unit, integration, regression, or automated tests
Ability to interpret functional and non-functional requirements and convert them into scalable technical implementations
Knowledge of CI/CD practices and the ability to participate in build, test, release, and deployment workflows
Familiarity with logging, monitoring, resiliency, and supportability considerations
Ability to work across architecture, engineering, automation, and delivery teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in a fast-paced and complex environment with evolving priorities
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Contribute to story refinement and requirements definition for AI agent use-cases, orchestration workflows, and deterministic automation capabilities
Participate in estimating work necessary to realize stories and requirements through the delivery lifecycle
Perform spikes, proofs of concept, and technical experiments to reduce implementation risk and validate approaches
Code solutions and unit tests to deliver requirements and stories in accordance with defined acceptance criteria and engineering standards
Build and enhance components that support AI-enabled workflows, agent interactions, and deterministic automation routines
Utilize multiple architectural components across data, application, workflow, and automation layers
Assist the team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work
Contribute to existing test suites, analyze test results, and help triage and remediate defects
Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, and support
Participate in delivery and release events, including branching, pull requests, and conflict resolution
Support secure, observable, and supportable solution delivery by implementing appropriate logging, error handling, and operational controls
Work flexibly across Engineering & Delivery and Deterministic Automation Orchestration priorities
