Requirements

High School Diploma or GED; technical or vocational certifications preferred but not required.
Minimum 1 year of previous milling experience.
Demonstrated ability to hold tight tolerances on small high precision part
Ability to read/interpret blueprints, measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, scales, indicators, and SPC equipment) and knowledge of tool identification.

Responsibilities

Operate manual/CNC equipment, including turning, milling, grinding, drilling, tapping, EDM and honing.
Machining small complex components requiring tight tolerances and exceptional surface finishes
Performing tool changes, offsets, wear compensation and in process adjustments to maintain quality
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD and T, work instructions and control plans
Carrying out in process and final inspections using micrometers, optical comparators, vision systems and other precision tools
Completing manufacturing and quality documentation to support compliance and traceability
Working closely with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement
Maintaining safety, cleanliness and contamination control standards throughout the workspace
