These expert-level roles have a high degree of autonomy to include determining the best run sequence of work orders for achieving production schedule.

Requirements

Expert-level Manual/Conventional Machinists.
Expert-level CNC Machinists.
Expertise in set-up, operation, and troubleshooting to consistently achieve production rates quality standards, and production schedule.
Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical/engineering drawings, GD&T, process documentation, and job orders to determine dimensions, tolerances and part requirements.
Expertise in use of precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gages and other measuring instruments.
Experienced with tooling, hand tools, power tools, and cutting techniques.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in fixturing and equipment setup.
Tool grinding and sharpening experience. OD/ID grinding experience.
Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently. Reliable and have a strong work ethic.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to fifty pounds.

Nice To Haves

Capable of guiding/coaching and/or training less experienced Machinists, Machinist Trainees, and Machine Operators.
