About The Position
Daniels Manufacturing Corporation is hiring skilled Machinists to manufacture precision components for mission-critical applications, including aerospace, defense, aviation, and other regulated industries. The role involves setup, programming, troubleshooting, and production machining using equipment such as CNC mills, lathes, turning centers, grinders, and Prototrak-controlled machines. Machinists work in a quality-focused environment where precision, craftsmanship, safety, and accurate documentation are essential. This is an on-site, second-shift position in Orlando, Florida, working from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Safety glasses and hearing protection are required in designated areas.
Requirements
- At least 1 to 2 years of turning center or CNC machining experience.
- Experience operating and setting up machining equipment, including CNC mills, lathes, grinders, turning centers, or Prototrak-controlled machines.
- Working knowledge of G and M code programming.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with multi-axis machining.
- Experience with Fanuc, Milltronics, Prototrak, or similar machine controls.
- Live tooling experience.
- Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC mills, lathes, turning centers, grinders, and other machining equipment.
- Troubleshoot machining programs and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters appropriate for each job.
- Produce parts to required tolerances and specifications while maintaining quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T callouts, and technical documentation.
- Complete work orders, production records, and other manufacturing documentation.
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following safety protocols.
